High Water is in June
The most exciting time to raft the Arkansas River is during high water in June. There are alternate trips during high water advisories – above 2,400 CFS in the Numbers and above 3,200 CFS in the Royal Gorge – which are advanced at high flows.
Beginner Whitewater Rafting
If you are nervous about whitewater rafting, have younger kids, or timid partipants in your group you should consider a beginner whitewater rafting trip.
